Your safety and satisfaction mean the world to us at J.A. Healy & Sons! To add a layer of protection and service, we now offer the TANK-GUARD® Oil Tank Protection Program, an oil tank warranty used to keep you safe in case you need an oil tank replacement. The program works proactively by treating your tank once a year with an internal liquid corrosion inhibitor, and reactively by providing you with a replacement tank if you need one. All of this includes a low annual fee.
What Are the Benefits of Enrolling in TANK-GUARD?
- Prevent Internal Corrosion: Annual treatment with a liquid corrosion inhibitor protects your oil tank from internal damage.
- Annual Warranty Coverage: The program includes an annual warranty, so you can have peace of mind against unexpected leaks.
- Tank Replacement Coverage: If a leak occurs in your warranty-covered tank, it will be replaced.
- Financial Credit: You receive a $2,000 credit toward the cost of a new tank if replacement is necessary because of a leak.
How Much Does It Cost?
The price for this insurance is $70 per year, including tax. If permits or safety code upgrades are required, a small fee will be added.
How Do I Enroll?
To enroll your tank, please contact us online or give us a call at (978) 692-6543. Your account will not be billed until the program is activated.

Your oil tank is eligible for enrollment if it has not been repaired at any time and is not leaking now. Underground tanks and tanks of more than 330 gallons capacity are not eligible. The warranty benefit applies to enrolled tanks which leak from internal corrosion; it is limited to tank replacement and does not extend to environmental cleanup.
